This project provided training (quality identification, handling and operation) on basic building construction raw materials (cement, sand, aggregate, water, mixing and curing) as well as production and application of household level building production provided to masons, workers, contractors, supervisors, and engineers. It also provided design and management of on-the-job training of Rat Trap Bond to skilled labors, petty contractors, supervisors and engineers. Designing, management and provision of MCR production and application training in 200 household units for post-disaster settlement was provided as well. Training was provided to existing and new private entrepreneurs, and engineers/technical professionals on Concrete Hollow Block technologies. Promotion of potential cement based products (such as concrete blocks, concrete pavers, roofing tiles, Rat Trap Bond; its production and application) was targeted to masons, producers, market clients, government bodies, contractors, engineers and technical professionals.
